Marlene Jane Wells

Biography:  Marlene Jane Wells, 78, of Bucyrus passed away on Friday June 13, 2014 at home, her death was unexpected.  Marlene was born August 7, 1935 in Sycamore to the late Louis and Ettie (Hill) Harter.  She was married to James F. Wells on Jan. 30, 1966.  In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Gladys Evans, Beulah Vogel, Dolly Lou Harter and son in law Randy Chamberlain.
Marlene is survived by step children; Pat (Harold) Holbert; Shirley (John) Lightner both of W. Virginia; Saundra Chamberlain of Kenton; Judy (Steve) Valerio of Mt. Victory; Ron (Vickie) Wells of Kenton; and Louie Lozano of Kenton;  as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and longtime friend Wilma Brown of Bucyrus.  
Marlene graduated from Sycamore H.S. in 1953 and moved to Bucyrus in 1962.  She retired from Timken after 31 years in 1988.  Marlene attended Our Masters Chapel in Benton.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Charles McGlone officiating, burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 PM on Monday.
