Mark A. (Skip) Butler, 61 of Bucyrus passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday December 27, 2023 at home following a brief illness. Mark was born January 25, 1962 in Bucyrus to the late Ralph and Mazie (Lambert) Butler.
Mark will be greatly missed by siblings Andy (Marla) Butler, Lori (Steve) Stoll, and Lisa (Chuck Moore) Butler all of Bucyrus; nieces and nephews Allen (Meredith) Stoll, Jackie (Adam Roberts) Stoll, Bryce (Sarah) Butler, Brooke Butler, and Madison Butler; great nephews Jaxon and Theo, and great niece Nora; as well as aunts, an uncle, cousins, and many close friends.
Mark graduated from Wynford High School in 1980 and has lived most of his life in this area. Skip was an avid fisherman and musician, playing the guitar and singing with the bands Stoney Roads, Black Velvet, and Rough Country. Skip enjoyed attending concerts with friends and liked all genres of music. Skip was a devoted Dallas Cowboy and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
Prior to the death of his parents, Mark was their caregiver and had worked at BAJA Boats and Wire Assemblies in Bucyrus.
At Marks request there will be no formal services but a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
