Marjean Hamrick

Biography:  Marjean Hamrick, 85 of Bloomville passed away on Friday October 27, 2017 at home.  Marjean was born May 11, 1932 in Marshallville, OH to the late Harold and Mabel (Markley) Fleming.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by sisters Irene Hart, Ann Propst, Sandy Lester, and Susan Kalb as well as brothers Ray and Wayne Fleming.


Marjean is survived by children John Hamrick of Bloomville and Sue Ellen (Bill) Compton of Galion; grandchildren Ilea and husband Jeremy, Toshia, and Brittany (Kyle) Bodkin; 2 great grandchildren Jaxson and Kylah; brothers Charles and Gary Fleming; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


Marjean moved to this area in 1972, lived in Florida from 1981 until 1992, and then back to this area.  She worked several jobs throughout her life and in 1991 became a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, reading, cooking candy, crafts, and working on her dollhouse.
