Marie H. Vaughan

Biography:  Marie H. Vaughan, 89 of Bucyrus passed away at 7:52 am Wednesday July 3, 2013 at Emeritus at Hillenvale Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon.  Marie was born Oct. 28, 1923 in Fostoria to the late Henry A. and Regina (Hoffbauer) Yost. She was married Jan. 30, 1946 to Arden Vaughan who preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2008.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 infant sister.
 
Marie is survived by three children; Mary Ann (Frank) Tinus, Solon, OH; Kenneth (Marilyn) Vaughan, Solon;  Joann (Daniel Stelzer) Hingsbergen, Sunbury, OH; eight grandchildren, Amy (Bob) Deahl, Christopher (Chaimica) Vaughan, Laura (Jon) Mitteness, Matthew (Casey) Vaughan, Ryan Tinus, Mark (Jessie) Tinus, Sara Hingsbergen, and Kevin Tinus; 7 great grandchildren; brother Firmin (Mary) Yost, Fostoria; sister Coletta Smith of Fostoria; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Marie was a homemaker and moved to Bucyrus in the early 1940’s.  She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Rosary Altar Society.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Monday at 10:30 am in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father John Miller as Celebrant, burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-5 pm.  Vigil Services will be held on Sunday at 4.45 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Holy Trinity School Endowment and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
