Biography: Marie F. Carman, 94, of Bucyrus passed away Saturday morning in Bucyrus Community Hospital Emergency Room. She was born December 17, 1920 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Albert and LuBerta (Bigler) Kocher. On October 5, 1940 she married Ralph E. Carman, preceding her in death on February 10, 1995.
She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Paul) Armstrong of Shelby, Ohio, Darrell (Sharon) Carman of Bucyrus, Wayne (Cathy) Carman of Bucyrus, and Keith Carman of North Robinson; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; and her brother, Paul Kocher of Chatfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Irvin Kocher and Leonard Kocher Sr.
Marie worked at Foulke’s Drug Store in Bucyrus and with her husband Ralph, owned and operated Carman’s Green House on Keiss Road for over 30 years. She was a member of the Lincoln Ave. Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Chapman officiating, burial will follow in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
