Margaret Christine Nickler

Margaret Christine Nickler, 82 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday April 9, 2024 at Altercare of Bucyrus.   Christine was born November 27, 1941 in Lewis County, KY to the late Ithel Charlton and Inez (Bloomfield) Charlton.   She was married February 4, 1958 to Lloyd D. Nickler who preceded her in death on April 24, 2016.  She was also preceded in death by brothers Ronald and Russell.

Christine is survived by children Debra (Joseph) Barciz, Shirley (Luke) Chapman, Priscilla (Ron) Haycook, Lloyd (Bob Richardson) Nickler, and Leonard (Tami) Nickler; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; sister Ruth Bloomfield; and sister in law Barbara Charlton.

Christine lived most of her life in Bucyrus and worked at WPI, the Holiday Inn, and Wendy’s.  Her hobbies included going to thrift stores and playing bingo.  She and Lloyd enjoyed dancing years ago and she loved her children and grandchildren.   Christine was a member of the AMVETS in Bucyrus.
