Biography: Margaret “Marti” Brewer Comes, 41 went to be with the Lord and her past loved ones on Friday at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Marti will be sadly missed by her family and friends who will forever cherish her memories. She was born Jan. 26, 1972 in Welch, W. Virg. to the late Charles E. Brewer and Ruth (Wright) Brewer who survives in Bucyrus along with her step father Malvinder Brar.
Marti is also survived by children Chase and Logan Campbell along with their father Bryan Campbell, son Gavin Comes and his father Gerard “Jay” Comes. Sister Stephanie (Mario) Duncan of Cleveland; nieces Aarianna and Marianna Duncan; half sisters Laurie, Ginny, and Cassie; half brother Charles; special aunt Betty Sue Russell and special cousins Michele Johns and Vivian Stamper of Bucyrus; special friends Adam Utz, Sr. of New Wash. and Eddie Aubrey of Bucyrus as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Marti was a free spirit who had a zest for life. She lived her entire life in Bucyrus and graduated from Col Crawford High School in 1990. Marti was a homemaker and a waitress. She was an avid cook and baker and enjoyed garage sales, fishing, camping, and outdoor activities. She was a social member of the Moose, Elks, Am Legion, and Amvets and a blood donor for the Am. Red Cross. Marti also was a “Gift of Life Hero” by donating her tissue and organs following her passing.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 to 6:00 pm where a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 pm.
