Margaret Marie Furner,

Biography: Margaret Marie Furner, 88 formerly of Bucyrus and a resident of New Albany for the past three years, passed away on Tuesday May 26, 2020 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in Columbus.  Margaret was born July 8, 1931 in Doran Virginia to the late Clarence and Ethel Ruth (Pinion) Hagy.  She was also preceded in death by husband Matt Furner on July 18, 2016; sons Donald Putnam, Ken Putnam, and Dave Stallsworth; brother Robert; and sisters Pauline and Sylvia.
Margaret is survived by daughter Patricia (John) Perry, sons Ronnie (Alice) Cordell and David (Petra) Putnam; stepdaughters Linda Furner and Brenda Suttles; sister Jean North; brother in law Bill Caldwell; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Margaret was a homemaker and enjoyed her southern cooking and formerly enjoyed bowling.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm in Oakwood Cemetery with Bill Caldwell officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to the American Alzheimer's Association through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be made at munzpirnstill@hotmail.com
