Biography:
Marcia Lynn Metzger, age 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by family June 12, 2017. Marcia was born to Lawrence Ash Jr. and Louella C. Ash in Bucyrus Ohio November 16, 1956. Marcia married Dean Metzger on March 19, 1982. They had just celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary.
Marcia is preceded in death by infant sister Patricia Ash, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marcia is survived by parents, loving husband Dean Metzger; children, Her “Best and Brightest” Winnie Mullins of North Carolina, Her “Only Son” Tigger (Clee) Blankenship of North Carolina, and Her “Sweetness and Light” Katie (Kip) Wentling of Upper Sandusky; brother Danny "Odie" (Virginia) Ash of North Robinson; sister, Toni (Rick) Hall of Bucyrus; Dennis (Bonnie) Metzger, Diane Belcher, Darla Sobers, Doug (Donna) Metzger, and Dave (Leah) Metzger; grandchildren, Deanna Mullins, Matthew Mullins, Delaney Mullins, Kaden Thomas Blankenship, Eliza Blue Blankenship, Aubry Wentling, Traven Wentling, Emma Roski, Jaden Wentling; great grandchildren, AnnaLee Lear and Luca Rhys Slagle; special friends, Gene and Penny Blankenship, Patty Spurlock, and Jo Crokie as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Marcia resided in Bucyrus her entire life and attended Bucyrus High School. She spent her summers and vacations in Kentucky with her family as a child and as an adult. She loved to go four wheeling in her trucks and have fish fry's on the “crick” bar. Marcia loved listening, singing, and dancing to her classic country music. She loved tending to her beautiful flower beds, hanging pots, and baskets. Marcia worked at numerous places throughout the years, including Special Packaging and most recently, Champion Foods.
Visitation will be at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, Friday June 16, 2017, from 4-6. Casual dress.
You will be missed by so many people; our daughter, sister, wife, mommy, nana “neena” and friend. “WE LOVE YOU MORE!”
