Marcella M. Tuokkola

Biography:  Marcella M. Tuokkola, 72, of Bucyrus passed away on Thursday August 21, 2014 at University Hospital of Cleveland following a courageous battle with cancer.  Marcella was born Dec. 9, 1941 in Chatfield to the late Omar and Loretta (Durnwald) Auck.  She was married Oct. 20, 1962 to Elmer R. “Dick” Tuokkola  who preceded her in death on July 13, 1993.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brother Edward Auck and sisters Linda Rhoden, Dorothy Deruy, and Sandra Burns.
Marcella is survived by children Nadine Tuokkola of Bucyrus; Eric Tuokkola of Lorain; and Craig (Michelle) Tuokkola of Middleville, MI; grandchildren Dean (Erica) Musselman, Cory Musselman, Matthew Tuokkola, Paige Musselman, Megan Tuokkola, Jennifer Tuokkola, and Andrew Tuokkola; great grandchildren Maddie and Brody; brother Donald (Mary) Auck of New Washington; sister Marilyn Patrick of Newark; Special Friend Warren Long of Bucyrus; daughter in law Kelly Tuokkola of Lorain; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Marcella lived her entire life in this area and graduated from Chatfield High School in 1959.  She attended the Bucyrus Nazarene Church, enjoyed Wednesday Night Poker Group, Line Dancing, and was a member of the Women of the Moose and the T.O.P.S. Group.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Saturday.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirntill.com
