Lula May Surgener

Biography: Lula May Surgener, 76 of Bucyrus went home to be with her Lord on Friday October 31, 2014 in Altercare of Bucyrus. Lula was born Feb. 21, 1938 in Galion to the late Robert and Frieda (Hershner) Van Buren. She was married Jan. 15, 1955 to Pastor Manzo Surgener who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter Kathy Sue.
Lula is also survived by children; David (Debbie) Surgener, Bucyrus; Robert (Tammy) Surgener, Bucyrus; Tina (Joe) Fawley, Bucyrus; Debbie (Kent) Miller of TN; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother Dale Van Buren of KY and Marvin Van Buren of Leesville; sisters Luanna Darnell, Donna Kinney, and Lois Webb all of Galion as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lula worked at Anchor Swan for 20 years before retiring. She was a member of the Christian Life Fellowship Church.
Private Graveside Services will be held on Monday at Shauck Cemetery in Johnsville, OH. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
