Biography: Lola Loriene Musselwhite, age 91, went to be with the Lord May 4, 2019. Lola was born to the late Pled and Callie (Vance) Pinion January 14, 1928 in Swords Creek, Virginia. Lola is preceded in death by parents, husband, Branch Musselwhite; daughters, Shirley Musselwhite and Faye Ridener; sisters, Lucy Smith, Ruth Strouth, Frances Smith, & Virginia Pinion; brothers, Estil Pinion, Porter Pinion, Ferrell Pinion, and Arnold Pinion.
Lola is survived by twin sister, Callie Irene Honaker; granchildren, Jamie McKee of Bucyrus and Kelly Ridener of Columbus, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Lola retired from Swan Rubber of Bucyrus after 43 years. Lola was a very active member in her church the Pentecostal Church of Praise. She listened to Gospel music in her spare time and enjoyed attending Gospel choir. She loved to crochet, spend time with the family, and fixing up a hot meal. Some of her best known meals were chicken and dumplings and her fabulous chocolate pie.
Services are at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Wednesday, May 8 at 12PM. The family invites friends to visit an hour before the service. Interment to follow at Crawford County Memory Gardens.
