Lois Grace Bittikofer

Biography:  Lois Grace Bittikofer, 85, of Bucyrus passed away at 10:40 am Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at home. Lois was born August 5, 1928 in St. Clairsville, Ohio to the late Robert and Anna Marjorie (Wiley) McFarland.  On June 25, 1949 she married Lawrence Bittikofer who preceded her in death on October 5, 2011.  Also preceding her in death are two brothers Raymond and Lloyd McFarland.
Lois is survived by one daughter Carol (Dave) Stock of Columbus, 2 grandchildren Michelle (Andrew) Leininger of Columbus and Nicole Stock of Nashville, TN, and one sister Iva McFarland Ritner of Cincinnati.
Lois shared her love of children, flowers, music, crafting, canning and baking in many ways with many people including directing a youth choir, teaching Sunday School and singing in the choir at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church to which she belonged.  She was also a working member of TWIG and four garden clubs.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 pm in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Reverend Don Neumann officiating.  Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 12-1 pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation  or Homecare Matters-Hospice through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, and expressions of sympathy may be left at munzpirnstill.com
