Lisa Watson Schott

Lisa Watson Schott, 57, of New Washington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 14, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born on November 21, 1967, to Julia Kendall and Loren Watson, Lisa spent most of her life in Bucyrus, Ohio. She was well known in the community for managing several local convenience stores and gas stations, and for her passion for music, performing in several area bands, including NightHeat with her dad.

A woman of many talents and hobbies, Lisa enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening, birdwatching, and singing. She was also a doting pet parent to her beloved companion, Calypso Grunt.

Lisa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with those she loved. On October 2, 1993, she married the love of her life, Mike Schott. Together, they raised a beautiful family. Lisa is survived by her children: Ian Dudley, Colin (Kelly) Watson, Garrett Schott, and Ashley Hocker, and by her cherished grandchildren: Rayna Clayton, Harmony Hocker, Benjamin Watson, Caleb Watson, and Emma Watson.

She is also survived by a brother and sister along with many beloved cousins who will remember her for her warmth and sense of humor.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Dorothy Schott, her parents Julia Kendall and Loren Watson, and her grandson Joshua Watson. Lisa’s vibrant heart and unwavering love for her family will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 pm following the visitation with Pastor Dan Rebon officiating.
