Linda Kay (Tolle) Evans, 79, of Bucyrus, Ohio passed away at home on November 24, 2024 with loves ones by her side.

Linda was born on March 27, 1945 to Jesse and Thelma (Cottingham) Tolle of Vanceburg, Kentucky. She graduated from Lewis County High School in 1963 and a year later, married the love of her life, Donald E. Evans. They moved to Bucyrus in 1965. Linda found employment at General Electric, where she worked until she retired.

Linda was a dedicated wife and mother who really loved shopping and reading. She kept an immaculate home and cooked wonderful meals. After retirement, Linda was proud to volunteer some of her time in the gift shop at Bucyrus Community Hospital. She enjoyed many outings with the Red Hat Society for quite a few years and was also part of a line dancing group, that really kept her on her toes. Linda was a member of the Vanceburg United Methodist Church which she joined as a child.

Linda is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years, Donald E. Evans; daughter, Marsha; grandson, Weston Mulvaine (Jozlyn); and great grandsons, Kayden and Leland; Linda also leaves behind three sisters, Janice (Tolle) Burriss of Black Oak, KY, Norma (Tolle) Hackworth of Tollesboro, KY, Sandra (Tolle) Rouse of Vanceburg, KY; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by loving son Douglas E. Evans in July of 2011; her parents Jesse Nelson Tolle and Thelma Lee (Cottingham) Tolle; her mother and father in law Boyd Raymond Evans and Eva Rosetta (Liles) Evans; five brother in laws, Jerry R. Evans, Boyd R. Evans Jr., James (Jay) R. Withrow, Ronnie D. Applegate, and David L. Kegley; three sister in laws, Evelyn D. (Evans) Moore, Debbie A. (Evans) Kegley, and Naomi R. (Chatman) Evans; two nephews, Michael E. Burriss and Tim D. Moore.

The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm. Services will be held on Wednesday November 27, 2024 at 1:00 pm in the Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Darling officiating. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society.
