Biography: Linda Sue Banks, 55, of Bucyrus has gone home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 6, 2014 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Her death was unexpected following a one week illness. Linda was born Aug. 25, 1958 in Bucyrus to the late Norman and Florence (Davis) Banks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Luther, James, Robert, and Ronnie Banks, as well as sister Mary Thomas and nieces and nephews.
Linda is survived by her fiancée Curtis Blevins Sr. of Bucyrus; brothers Tommy (Sherri) Banks; Johnnie (Linda) Banks; Richard Banks Sr.; Norman (Linda) Banks; Charles (Phyllis) Banks; and Donald (Lisa) Banks; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Linda has resided in Bucyrus all of her life and she loved all of her nieces and nephews, especially her great niece Ana Wilburn and two great nephews Jeremy and Steven Wilburn. She also loved a girl she helped raise, Jenna VanBuskirk. Linda was a faithful Christian and enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the New Day Ministries with Bishop Ted Thomas officiating, burial will follow in Oceola Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday from 4-6 pm. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
