Biography: Linda L. (Mullins) Cooper, 62 of Bucyrus went to be with the Lord on Wednesday July 8, 2020 at Galion Community Hospital, her death was unexpected. Linda was born December 22, 1957 in Mansfield, OH to the late Frank M. and Essie O. (Cains) Mullins. She was married March 3, 1976 to Rick Cooper who survives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by granddaughter Hannah; brothers Eddie Mullins, and Jim Mullins; as well as sisters Darlene Harrill and Carmen Shrader.
Linda is also survived by son Ricky (Brandi) Cooper of Galion and daughter Tanya (Brian A) Lavelle of Bucyrus; grandchildren Brodie (Skyla Symsick) Cooper and Xander Cooper; brother David (Cora) Mullins of Shelby; sisters Kathy (Doug) Hoskins and Donna (Paul) Cooper both of Crestline, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of brother and sisters in laws that she loved like her own family.
Linda retired as a preschool teacher at ABC Center in Shelby. She graduated from Crestline H.S. in 1976 and has lived her entire life in this area. Linda was a member of Crestline Church of God of Prophecy and had a strong faith. Her family was everything to her. The love she had for her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews was indescribable. She was the kind, most generous, loving person who would give you the shirt off of her back if she thought you wanted it. She had a passion for music and loved to sing with her family. Above anything, she loved the Lord. She shared her Faith in Jesus Christ with everyone she met and has impacted and touched many children’s lives as a Preschool teacher and as a children’s church teacher.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm in the Crestline Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Gary Grant & Pastor Brian A Lavelle officiating , burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Galion. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.
