Lawrence “Loren” Watson, 79 passed away peacefully Wednesday April 3, 2024 following a lengthy illness. Loren was born July 20, 1944 in Peru, Ohio and lived most of his life in Bucyrus. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Susan (Hensley) Watson; sisters, Janice, Mary, Thelma, Beverly, and Sharon; brothers, Clarence Jr., Larry, John, Kenneth; great grandson, Joshua Watson.

He is survived by former wife and special friend Julia Kendall; son, Ron (Traci) Watson; daughters, Lisa (Mike) Schott, Cristy (John) Shaffer; brother, Thurman Watson; sister, Kathleen (John) Cook; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Loren worked for 20 years for AVI vending from where he retired. He was a talented musician and singer and played in numerous bands in the area. He loved playing computer games and spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and was a great storyteller. He was a man of faith and was a member of Father’s Heart Healing Center. He also was a long-time member of the Bucyrus Moose Lodge.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday April 7, 2024 at 3:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rebon officiating.   The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.   Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
