Biography: Larry E. Deisler, age 76, passed away January 28, 2016 after battling an extensive illness. Larry was born to the late Claire and Veda (Snavely) Deisler, November 16, 1939 in Bucyrus Ohio. Since then he has been a permanent resident of Bucyrus. Larry is preceded in death by sister Shirley Miller and great granddaughter Genny Thompson.
Larry is survived by wife, of 47 years, Bonnie (Baker) Deisler; daughters, Lisa Deisler-Hancock (Dan) Rowe, Brenda Oberdier; sons, Jon Miller and Sonie Miller; grandchildren, Micah, Tiara, and Ariana Hancock, Levi Rowe, Shandon Miller, Joey Diebert, Sheona Holmes, Krista White, Jamie Fawley; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Larry had a passion for anything mechanical, he loved motorcycles and cars alike. He could take apart a car engine and put it back together. Larry was an excellent pipe welder, he was very hands on and there wasn’t a project he couldn’t tackle. For work and for leisure Larry loved to travel, some of his favorite destinations include the Smokey Mountains and trips to Florida. In his travels he always had to be outdoors, he wasn’t settling for a hotel room at night, Larry preferred camping out in the wild. Larry also loved his grandchildren very dearly; he spent as much family time as he could with them.
