Biography:  Kim Douglas Laipply, 59 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Hospice House of North Central Ohio in Ashland.  Kim had lived the past 4 years in the Loudonville Rest Home.  He was born Aug. 30, 1956 in Bucyrus to the late Howard S. and Opal Mae (Dunn) Laipply.

 
Kim is survived by brothers Jeffrey A. (Becky) Laipply and their children Wes (Sarah) Laipply and Kyle (Emily) Laipply all of Bucyrus and Brad D. (Richelle) Laipply of Massilon, OH and their children Erica (Eric Ambrus) Laipply of Canton and Kelly (Justin McCutcheon) of Cincinnati; uncles Albert Dunn of Shelby and Guy (Ann) Dunn of Bucyrus.
Kim graduated from Wynford High School in 1974 and attended Ohio State Universityfor three years.  While in high school, Kim was president of his class as a junior andvice president his senior year.  He was active in band, the Royal Singers, and football.  Kim loved all sports and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.  He had attended First Presbyterian Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Gene Luidhardt S.A.M. officiating, burial will follow in Brokensword Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 -7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Loudonville Rest Home, 205 N.
