Karen Sue (Hayes) Stowe

Biography: Karen Sue (Hayes) Stowe, 63 of Lykens passed away on Friday January 17, 2020 at Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Karen was born April 21, 1956 in Galion, OH to the late Harry Richard and Eileen Bessie (Woolensnider) Hayes.  She was married July 26, 1980 to Frank Stowe who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers Carl and David as well as 1 sister Carol Ann.
Karen is also survived by children Heidi Hayes of Bucyrus; Todd (Penny) Hayes of Bloomville; Peggy (Chris) Shuster of Sycamore; and Cheryl (Tim) Weisenauer of Bloomville; grandchildren Vincent, William (Chelsea), Ashleigh, Cassie, Kaleigh, and Jared; great grandchild Liam; brother Rodney Hayes of Bucyrus; sister Barbara Bogart of Bucyrus; aunts Ruth Manier of Bucyrus and Esther Kingsley of Florida; as well as many other close family and friends.
Karen lived her entire life in this area and graduated from Wynford High School in 1975.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed watching movies, camping, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with her family.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm and again on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the service which will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday. Memorials may be made through the funeral home and  expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
