Julie Downing

Julie Downing, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at home November 21st 2022. Julie was born to Robert and Kirstine (Simonsen) Downing March 13, 1962 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Julie was preceded in death by mother, Kirstine Downing and brother Bob Downing.

Julie is survived by son, Simon Downing; daughter, Zoe Downing; sister, Jackie (James) Robison; nieces, Jayda Robison, Emilee Downing, Kelsey Downing; nephews, Jeremy (Dolly) Downing, Ryan Downing, Austin Downing, and Dylan Downing; sister-in-law Connie Sharp; special friends, Janet Lykins and Dave Swavel.

Julie graduated Bucyrus High School class of 1980. Julie worked for a number of years at Checkmate before it closed its doors. After that she had worked at Champion Foods and Stouts Laundromat. Julie also babysat for family and friends for many years. She loved to listen to WQEL and watch her favorite shows on Netflix and loved playing her video games, like Animal Crossing. She had a heart of gold, and was a stranger to no one, she will be deeply missed.
