Biography: Julia Ann (Sullivan) Collyer, age 89, passed away while surrounded by family March 21, 2017. Julia was born to the late Clio (Jones) Phillips and Jim Sullivan in Greenbrier Tennessee. She is preceded in death by parents, stepfather Will Phillips, husband Charlie Collyer in 1998, brother Park Phillips, sisters, Mary Ann Stanley and Anne Rathers, daughter Patsy Jean Collyer, and grandson Charles Edward Orewiler.
Julia is survived by children Ruby (Jerry) Laughbaum of Florida, Peggy (Ben) Simmons of Marion, Patsy Stewart of Bucyrus, Jim Collyer of Mt Gilead, Renee (John) Bell of Bucyrus, 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 16 great great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Julia and Charlie were quiet fond of camping and fishing. She also loved to play bingo and work puzzles. She was a great homemaker and cook. Julia enjoyed spending time with grandchildren and embroidering pillow cases for them and crocheting.
The family will be receiving friends Sunday March 26 at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home from 2-4 PM. Funeral services will be Monday at 11 AM. Burial will follow services at Oakwood cemetery.
