Juanita Ruth Lucius

Juanita Ruth Lucius, age 68, passed away at home January 22, 2024. Juanita was born to the late Oren “Bill” and Thelma (Miller) Hatch December 2, 1955 in Marion Ohio. Juanita married Ron Lucius June 30, 2004 while on vacation in Gatlinburg TN. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Bill Hatch and Thelma Moloney and stepfather, William Moloney all of Marion, mother and father in law Janette and George Lucius of Bucyrus.

Survived by husband of 20+ years, Ronald Lucius of Bucyrus; daughters, Amber (Rob) Neill and Amanda (Brady) Piatt both of Marion Ohio; stepdaughter, Misty Nolen of Crestline; brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Hatch and Larry (Molly) Hatch; grandchildren, Trevor Fair of Bucyrus, Brock and Rhiley and Alexis Nolen all of Crestline, and Bre’sean Taylor; Mariah and Jalen Glover of Marion.

Juanita worked for several years with Whirlpool and Dofasco. She was quite the animal lover, she couldn’t turn down an animal that needed a home. She loved her family very much. She enjoyed her Vegas trips, going bowling, OSU football games, and trips to Amish Country. Juanita loved her husband Ron very much and wanted the world to know he was wonderful man who took the best care of her until the end.

Visiting hours are at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Thursday January 25, from 1PM-3PM. There will be a service following the visiting hours at 3PM.
