Joyce S. Zahara

Biography: Joyce S. Zahara, age 87, of Bucyrus, Ohio, died suddenly on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Heartland Nursing Home. Joyce was born August 16, 1925 in Auckland, New Zealand to the late William and Lillian Quedley.  She married the late John J. Zahara on Feb. 7, 1943  during World War II and journeyed to the United States, accompanied by many other War Brides. Joyce  is survived by brother Trevor Quedley, Auckland ,New Zealand ; her sons ,John W. Zahara  of Dublin, Ohio and Trevor Zahara and Wife Patti of Westerville ; Granddaughters, Lara Uher (Husband Joe) , Megan Arnold (husband Josh) of Westerville; Kerrie  Stallarg, Grandson’s -Jason Zahara ( Wife Meredith) Clearwater Fla.  Trent  Zahara Dublin  Great Granddaughters- Ellie, Eve and Madison. A Private family wake will be held at Munz Pinstill funeral home. No Public calling hours will be held.
