Joyce S. Dewiel

Biography: Joyce S. Dewiel, 66 of Bucyrus passed away on Friday January 10, 2020 at Galion Community Hospital.  Joyce was born September 4, 1953 in Galion to the late Franklin W. and Nora Mae (Hammond) Myers.  She was married October 7, 1988 to Michael F. Dewiel who survives.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Randy Banks; granddaughter Randi Leigh Banks; and sisters Patricia Dant, Mary Shelt, Edna Myers, and sister in law Rhonda Myers.
Joyce is also survived by son Richard (Corine) Banks Jr. of Bucyrus; step children John Michael Dewiel of Lima and Angela Dewiel of Murietta CA; grandchildren Jordan, Owen, Ariahne, Aeron, Johnna, Nichole, and Makayla; 2 step great grandchildren; brother Franklin W. (Pamela Laughbaum) Myers Jr of Bucyrus and sisters Ada (Sherman) Jarvis of Bucyrus and Debra (James) Banks of Bucyrus; brother in law Jack Dant; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce last worked at Walmart in Bucyrus for 15 years and prior to that at the Bucyrus Police Dept.  She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1972 and enjoyed her ceramics and crafts.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the time of the service.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
