Joyce Ann Lutz

Joyce Ann Lutz, age 61, passed away at Doctors Hospital of Columbus, July 1, 2024. Joyce was born to the late Charles “Butch” and Beatrice (Jones) Garverick, December 16, 1962 in Galion Ohio. Joyce married James Edward Lutz, who precedes her in death. Joyce is preceded in death by parents, husband James Lutz; daughter, Suzie Castle; brother in law Scott Thompson.

Joyce is survived by children, Melissa (Chris Nelson) Pfiefer, Holly Lee, Beatrice (Travis) Poland; grandchildren, Faith Hronas, James Hronas, John Forrest, Lucas Brinker, Zoe Pfeifer, Skylina Borden, Lizzie Pfeifer, Serenity Borden, and Katie Pfeifer; brother, Wayne Gaverick; sisters, Sharon (Ray) Thitoff and Bobbi Thompson.

Joyce loved her cats very much, like they were her children, Gizzy, Ratatouille, Wiggles, and Pepper. She loved attending garage sales and flea markets, and spending time with her family. She always obsessed over smelly goods, making sure her home always smelled good with candles and scents.
