Joyce E. Massey

Biography: Joyce E. Massey of Bucyrus passed away on Friday morning August 28, 2015 at home, she had been in failing health for the past year.  Joyce was born April 9, 1941 in Bucyrus to the late Lawrence and Lottie (Smaltz) Morrow.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son Roy Allen; great granddaugthter Brianna Rose Maddox Massey; brother William Morrow; and sister Dorothy Chandler.
Joyce is survived by children Carl (Michelle) Massey; Albert (Corina) Massey; Larry (Karen) Massey; and Penny Kraft all of Bucyrus; 14 grandchildren, Carl Jr., Heather, Dustin, and Joe Massey; Jake Nichols, Brittany (Massey) Hall, Christopher Massey, Gage Swartz, Larry Massey Jr., Josh, Tyson, Aaliyah, and Malikye Massey, and Jessica Richardson; 14 great grandchildren; sister Donna Kisor of MN and sister in law Faye Morrow of Orient, OH
Joyce had worked at several area business establishments that included Swan Rubber, GE, the Pondorosa, the Mad Bull, and the Pub. She was of Protestant faith and was a member of the Amvets and the Bucyrus Moose.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 5:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Jedediah Brake officiating, burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of service.  Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy may be left at munzpirnstill.com
