John Paul Zakro

John Paul Zakro, 76 of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday June 3, 2023 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  John was born December 26, 1946 in Chicago, IL to the late Edward and Shirley (Peters) Zakro.  He was married October 22, 1988 to Dotty (Hall) Zakro who survives.  John is also survived by daughter Sharon Zakro, sons Joshua, Matthew, and Jasun Zakro, and step daughter Theresa Miller; brothers Edward and Scott Zakro, and sister Barbara Roberts.

John last worked at the Timken Company and enjoyed fishing, bowling, and had a love for animals.  John was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Private family services will be held at a later date and the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements for cremation.  Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
