John L. Lewis Rigney

Biography: John L. Lewis Rigney Sr. 68 of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday Jan. 7, 2015 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. John was born May 1st, 1946 in Harlan KY to the late Charlie and Nettie (Smith) Rigney. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife Karen Christine (Welch) Rigney.
John is survived by five children; John Rigney Jr., Bucyrus; Annette (Rigney) Cowgill, Bucyrus; Ron Rigney of Bellville; Dale Rigney of Bucyrus and Thomas Rigney of Columbus; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; three sisters Charlene Louden of Mt. Gilead, Gearlene Saylor of Galion, and Magdelene Hensley of Bucyrus.
John was a loving father, husband, grandfather and minister of God’s word to all. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his boys.
Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Glendale Cemetery, Cardington. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
