Joe D. Wright

Biography:  Joe D. Wright, 59, of Bucyrus passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at his home.   Joe was born July 25, 1954 in Bucyrus to the Ralph Wright Sr. and Jean (Skidmore) Wright who survives. Joe is also survived by his children, Chad Wright of Columbus, Jennifer and Stephanie Wright of Florida; his step son, Ron Clum and his family of Akron, Ohio; his brother, Ralph Wright Jr., his sisters, Patty (John) Martin of Bucyrus, Pamela Ferris of Bucyrus, and Barb Kichura of Washington Court House; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
 
Joe was a graduate of Bucyrus High School in 1973 and lived his entire life in the community.  He worked for North Electric in Galion for 17 years, worked as a laborer traveling through many states, and for the past several years worked with his sister as a property manager for rental properties.  Joe loved his family and enjoyed spending time helping his mother around her home. He was an avid Buckeye Fan and watched them as often as he could. 
 
Funeral Services for Joe will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Reverend Ernest Surgener officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of services.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.  The family suggests memorials be made in his memory to the donor’s choice.
