Jerry N. Baker

Biography: Jerry N. Baker, 68 of rural Nevada passed away on Sunday Oct. 12, 2014 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Jerry was born June 5, 1946 in Bucyrus to the late Dean and Mabel (Wilson) Baker. He was married Dec. 12, 1970 to Jill (Snodgrass) Baker who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Joel Baker; brother Robert Baker and sister Nancy James.
Jerry is also survived by son Jerry “Jay” Baker Jr. and his wife Becky of Spring Lake, NC; grandchildren Brittany, Allison, Elaina, Joshua, and Jacob; brother Earl (Miechelle) Baker of New Washington, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was an auto mechanic and worked for Buckeye Central Schools as a bus mechanic for 20 yrs. as well as working at local auto parts stores.
It was Jerry’s request there will be no formal services. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.
