Biography: Jerry L. “Jake” Stuckman, 70, of Bucyrus passed away on Saturday May 30, 2015 at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky following an extended illness. Jerry was born Jan. 26, 1945 in Bucyrus to the late James H. and Pearl M. (Trash) Stuckman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother William.
Jake is survived by daughter Tami Gallant of Galion; grandchildren Cody Stuckman, Darrien Cassell, Makayla Cassell, Mariah Woods, Kara Woods, and Cheyenne Woods; brother James M. (Vergene) Stuckman; sisters Joyce Stuckman and Joan (Earl) Smith all of Bucyrus; sister in law Sandi Stuckman of Galion; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jake retired from Pepsi Cola after 21 years as a delivery person in the Bucyrus area. Following retirement he continued work with S & R Refuge. He attended Sulphur Springs School and lived most of his life in Bucyrus. Jake enjoyed, and was dedicated to visiting residents at the former Fairview Manor and Heartland of Bucyrus.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Earl Smith officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 pm to 7 pm. The family suggests memorials be made to the Southern Care Hospice and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
