Biography: Jerald Lee Smith, 65, of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday at his home. Jerry was born July 11, 1949 in Russell Co. Virginia to the late Robert Hubert and Ora Evangeline (Jackson) Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Larry Ronald Smith and Robert Eugene Smith.
Jerry is survived by his step mother Patricia Arlene Smith of Abingdon, Virginia; brothers Charles Edward Smith of Bucyrus and John William Smith of Ravenna, OH; sisters Evelyn Joyce Stewart of Orange City, FL and Janet Finical of Tabor City, N.C.; ½ brothers Glenn and Rick Smith both of Virginia; ½ sister Sandy Hess of Virginia; step sister Sharon Wise Ward and step brother Roger Wise both of Virginia.
At the family’s request there will be a private graveside service in Oakwood Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
