Jeffrey Allen Crabaugh

Biography:  Jeffrey Allen Crabaugh, 66 of Bucyrus passed away on Feb. 21, 2015 at home, his death was unexpected.  Jeff was born May 2, 1948 in Bucyrus to the late Albert and Erma Jean (Geiger) Crabaugh.  He is survived by brother James (Ruth Ann) Crabaugh of Bucyrus; nephew Jeff (Deb) Karl of Columbus; niece Kristi (Michael) Samples of Columbus; great nieces and nephews Abby, Anna, and Alex; as well as numerous cousins, and aunts in the Bucyrus area.
 
Jeff graduated from Colonel Crawford in 1966 and served 2 tours of Vietnam in the U.S. Army.  He retired from Timken in 2004 after 38 years.  Jeff was an avid boater and spent most of his time following retirement at Lake Erie at his cottage with friends.  He helped with Rescue IV at Lake Erie for several years.  Jeff was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church on Ridgeton Rd.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 4 at 11:00 am in the St. Paul Lutheran Church with Rev. Hans Scherner officiating, burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery with Military rites.  The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Church or Wounded Warriors through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
