Biography: Jeffrey P. Cain, 58, of Bucyrus passed away on Friday Feb. 27, 2015 in Columbus of an apparent heart attack, his death was unexpected. Jeff was born Sept. 8, 1956 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Paul and Phyllis (Holliday) Cain. He is survived by brothers Michael Cain and Douglas (Christine) Cain; sister Kimberly McLeod all of Bucyrus; nephews Shawn Cain and Jason Cain both of Bucyrus; nieces Carrie Cain, Bucyrus; Jennifer Cain of Alexandria, OH; and Paige Crouse of Bucyrus; great nephews and nieces Noah and Amber Cain of Bucyrus; Harley Pepper of Bucyrus; Alexandria Cain of Middleburg, FL; and Gavin and Anderson Crouse of Bucyrus.
Jeff lived most of his life in Bucyrus and graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1976 where he participated in football and wrestling. Following graduation he joined the U.S. Army and served from 1976-1979 as an Army Ranger. For 33 years Jeff worked at G.E. in Bucyrus and retired in 2013. For several years he enjoyed drag racing motorcycles.
The family will receive friends at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm. The family suggests memorials be made to Wounded Warriors and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
