Jeffery Allen Kiess

Biography:  Jeffrey Allen Kiess, 46, of Kenton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 10, 2015 at his home.  Jeff was born Nov. 7, 1968 in Bucyrus to Wayne and Janice (Groves) Kiess who survive in Bucyrus.  He is also survived by his life partner Dean Goslee of Kenton; brothers David of Columbus and Ronald of Bucyrus; niece Tiffany Riels of Bucyrus; nephew Matthew Gallant of Memphis, TN; 2 great nephews and 1 great niece; as well as several aunts and uncles.  Jeffrey was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents JM and Lorraine Groves, and paternal grandparents Edward and Florice Kiess.
 
Jeff graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1987 and Ashland University in 1993.  He currently was working at Cannon Services in Marysville.  Jeff was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns and Indians.  He also loved his pet dog, “Emma”
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with burial to follow in Salem Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4-8 pm.  Memorials may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.
