Jeanie Louise Pelfrey

Jeanie Louise Pelfrey, age 53, passed away at home Wednesday August 14, 2024. Jeanie was born to Opal Vehrs (Stowe), June 8, 1971, in Bucyrus Ohio. Jeanie got married to Justin Pelfrey on September 11, 2021, and they spent two and a half wonderful years together. Jeanie is preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Jeanie is survived by husband, Justin Pelfrey; mother, Opal (Richard) Vehrs; children, James Hetsler, Matt Hetsler, and Brandon Garner; brothers, Raymond (Dusty) Vehrs and Wayne (Schanda) Vehrs; father and mother in law, Roger and Gloria Pelfrey; brother in law, Craig Pelfrey; sister in law, Brittany (Cyle) Pelfrey Hardymon; as well as several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Jeanie loved spending time with her family, she enjoyed the craft jewelry Opal would make for her, she loved animals, cats especially. Jeanie enjoyed watching TV shows, watching the Chicago Bears, and anything horror related. She frequently would go fishing, and loved the Bratwurst festival, watching the parades, and she was looking forward to this years, even if she wouldn’t be able to attend due to her health. She had a big heart and will deeply missed by all that knew her.
