Jeaness C. (Plumley Richmond) Ryland

Jeaness C. (Plumley Richmond) Ryland, 81 of Bucyrus went to her heavenly home on Friday August 9, 2024 at O.S.U. James Hospital following a brief illness. Jeaness was born August 14, 1942 in Abraham, West Virginia to the late Arvis Reed and Dexter Mae (Bennett) Plumley. She was first married September 2, 1961 to Harold E. Richmond who preceded her in death on October 26, 1984. Jeaness married Larry Ryland July 9, 1988 and he preceded her in death on December 2, 2011. She was also preceded in death by brothers Crawford and Basil Plumley.

Jeaness is survived by children Scott A. (Monica) Richmond of Newark and Cheryl L. (Brad) Ash of Bloomington, Indiana; grandson Brian (Shaina) Richmond Ash; grandchildren Jamie (Kevin) Myers and Mark (Heather) Powell; great grandchildren Reed Powell, Kensley Myers, and Hudson Myers; brother Ronald (Waneda) Plumley of Cumberland, Virginia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeaness graduated High School in 1959 and retired from General Electric after working 20 years. She was a devoted and faithful member of the Bucyrus Nazarene Church. Jeaness enjoyed her gardening and helping other people in their time of need.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Ray LaSalle officiating and burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
