Biography: Jean Stuckert, 84 of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Bucyrus Community Hospital. Jean was born July 5, 1932 in Washington, DC to the late William A. and Jean (Simpsan) Bennetts. She was married Oct. 6, 1951 to Thomas L. Stuckert who preceded her in death on May 13, 1981. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sons Thomas M. and David A. Stuckert.
Jean is survived by her very dear longtime friend Charles Huggins of Bucyrus; sons William (Tess) Stuckert of Racine, WI; C. Douglas (Jackie) Stuckert and P. Andrew (Angie Tallman) Stuckert both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Amanda, Megan, Christina, Jennifer, Nicholas, and Amber; great grandchildren Skyler, Thomas, Elliott, Anika, Calista, Arabella, Sophia, and Grant; step brothers William and Thomas Bennetts; and step sister Dorothy Donnelly.
Jean was part owner of Lambs Decorating in Bucyrus and retired in 1997 from Montgomery Ward as a sales Associate. She graduated from Shepherd College in W. Virginia and O.S.U. in 1981 with a degree in Education. Jean taught with PIC and ABELE through Pioneer. She helped establish CONTACT in Crawford County and was a volunteer. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Greenler officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
