Jean M. "Granny" Sheldon

Biography:  Jean M. “Granny” Sheldon, 86, of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday July 23, 2014 in Bucyrus Community Hospital.  Jean was born May 21, 1928 in Attica to the late William and Marie (Wilford) Pine.  She was married April 8, 1950 to Robert E. Sheldon who preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2006.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by son Terry, daughter Pamela, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters.
 
Jean is survived by children, Robert Sheldon Jr., Connie Sheldon, and Debra (Michael) Browning, all of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Jeremy Sheldon and Angel Lange both of Bucyrus, and Stacey and Joey Petty of Tiro; great grandchild Mycala Lange; brother Earl Pine of New Washington; sisters Ruth Roberts of N. Washington and Donna Kalb of Bucyrus.
 
Jean was a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She especially enjoyed being with her family.
 
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Rev. Glory Geib officiating, burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of service.  Memorials may be made through the funeral home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com.
