Biography: Jean L. (Spiegel) Reininger, age 71 passed away November 13 after battling illness for several months. Jean was born January 11 1944 to the late Charles H. and Vera (Johns) Spiegel in Wyandot Co. She was married to Harold Reininger for a happy 48 years. Jean is preceded in death by husband, Harold Reininger; and siblings, Clarence, Jack, Robert, Wayne, Glenn, Ralph, Jerry, Joanna, Maedolly.
Jean is survived by sons Randy (Shayla) Reininger and Wade Reininger (Ashley Baird) both of Bucyrus; grandchildren, Shane and Shawn Reininger; brothers, Vernon “Pete” (Norma) Spiegel of Nevada, Max (Anita Stover) Spiegel of Sulpher Springs; sister-in-laws, Sandy Spiegel, Joyce Spiegel, Peg Spiegel, Beverly Spiegel and Dorothy Harris
Jean was an avid flea market and auction attendee. She bought and sold anything she saw that had some value. She loved crafting nice baskets and gifting them to family or selling them at markets. Jean loved listening to the music of Elvis Presley in her spare time. Jean started working in Bucyrus at Bucyrus Community Hospital, served a short period of time as crossing guard with the Bucyrus Police Department, and helped as a housekeeper for Crawford County Home for over 20 years.
The family will be receiving friends at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Thursday Nov. 19 from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral Services will be at 11 am Friday at the funeral home.
