Janfrey "Jan" Byron Knisely

Biography:  Janfrey “Jan” Byron Knisely, 69, passed away unexpectedly June 17, 2016. Jan was born to the late Robert and Helen (Spaide) Knisely November 8, 1946 in Bucyrus Ohio. Jan is preceded in death by parents and half sister Betty Jones.
Jan is survived by daughter, Amanda M. Knisely; brother, Dennis C. Knisely; sister, Roberta (John) Bender; half-sister, Rita Koprowski; and close cousin David C. Spaide.
Jan was a graduate of Bucyrus High School and continued his education at Ohio Northern for a Bachelors in Business. Jan loved the outdoors and was an avid fly fisherman. Jan was also a member of the Moose and member of the Masonic Lodge. He served with the National Guard for six years. Jan also was a third generation employee at Knisely Real Estate and Insurance Company.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday June 21, 4-6 PM at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow calling hours at 6 PM. Memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society. Moments of remembrance may be left online atwww.munzpirnstill.com
