Janet L. (Hart) Knapp

Biography: Janet L. (Hart) Knapp, 87 of Kirkpatrick passed away on Saturday February 12, 2022 at Altercare of Bucyrus.  Janet was born October 15, 1934 in Bucyrus to the late Harry C. and Edith (Burling) Hart.  She was married March 15, 1953 to Glenn E. Knapp for over 61 years and he preceded her in death in 2014.  Janet was also preceded in death by sisters Helen Tackett and Eleanor Cross. 

Janet is survived by son Randy ( Sally) Knapp and daughter Kathy L. (Ed) Brause; grandchildren Jennifer (Dean) Lewis, Sandra (Andy) Klingenberger, and Brandon (Raeann) Brause; 5 great grandchildren; sisters Jacqueline Harrison, Patricia Smith, Virginia Sue Heinberger, Karen Harness, and Debra Hart; sister in laws Pam Knapp, Donna Knapp, Sara Jean Knapp, Dorothy (Bob) Davidson, and Judy (John) Blaskis;  as well as numerous nieces and nephews.   
Janet graduated from  Bucyrus High School and was a homemaker.  She was a lifelong member of Kirkpatrick Church of Christ.  

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Don Kelley officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to the Kirkpatrick Church of Christ of the donor's choice and expressions of sympathy can be left at www.munzpirnstill.com
