Biography: James Albert Richardson, 76 of Bucyrus passed away on December 12, 2016 at O.S.U. Medical Center following a brief illness. James was born July 21, 1940 in Russell County VA to the late Paul Clyde and Norma Ruth (Honaker) Richardson. He was married Nov. 8, 1957 to Ina Christine (Miller) Richardson who survives.
Jim is also survived by sons James Allen Richardson, Bucyrus; and Dale Lee Richardson of Bucyrus; grandchildren Jamie Lyons, T.J. Reigle, Brent and Logan Richardson; 4 great grandchildren; brothers David and Douglas Richardson both of Bucyrus; sisters Mary Alice Tate of Whitehouse, TN and Judy Lynn Davidson of Bucyrus. He was also preceded in death by brother Roger and sister Carolyn Joyce Bursby.
Jim retired from Swan Rubber after 43 years. He worked for Hauser Body Shop, Chuck and Don’s Body Shop and part time at Lederer’s. He lived most of his life in Bucyrus, was a member of the UCT, and enjoyed vintage cars and fishing.
Private Services were held on Monday at the Graveside in Brokensword Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to the St. Judes Children’s Hospital through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
