Hester Sipes

Hester Sipes, 92 of Columbus and formerly of Bucyrus passed away on Tuesday January 7, 2025 at Arlington Court in Columbus. Hester was born April 14, 1932 in Barbourville, Kentucky to the late Samuel and Axie (Warren) Messer. She was preceded in death by husband Richard Dean Sipes, son Dean Richard Sipes, as well as brothers and sisters.

Hester is survived by daughter Rebecca (Alan) Thederahn of Westerville, Ohio and grandsons Noah (Abigail) Thederahn and Zane Thederahn.

Hester lived most of her life in Bucyrus and prior to her marriage worked at the Timken Company where she met her husband. She moved to the Columbus area 4 years ago.
