Henry Jack Johnson

Biography: Henry Jack Johnson, age 86, went to be with the Lord January 8, 2022 after a 3-year battle with dementia. Henry was born to Claude and Lucinda (Literal) Johnson July 14, 1935 in West Liberty Kentucky. Henry and Wanda (Benna) Johnson have been married 35 years. He is preceded in death by parents, brothers, Lee Johnson and Hershell Johnson; sister, Fredia Johson; daughter, Treva Johnson; step-son, Mark Beach.
Henry is survived by his loving wife Wanda Johnson; daughter, Robbin Johnson; sons, Raymond Mcdannell and Michael (Wendy) Mcdannell; brother, Garland (Terry) Johnson; as well as numerous, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Henry attended New Hope Community Church. He loved working in his yard when he was able to. Henry and Wanda always went out on dinner dates and loved spending time with their family. He always got Wanda to church on time to play piano. He worked for 45 years at Swan and another 20 years with Walmart.
There will be a celebration of life service in the summer, a date and time will be posted at a later date. Officiating will be Pastor Timothy Young along with Pastor Bob Thompson. Graveside service will be Thursday January 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus. Memorials may be made through the funeral home or to the Church.
