Harry "Speed" Brown

December 31, 1969 — April 14, 2014

Biography:  Harry “Speed” Brown born April 8, 1937 to the late Hamilton Wilson Brown and Mildred Erdene (Ritenour) Brown near DeGraff, Ohio, Logan County.  Speed was the fifth of at least 10 children born to Hamilton and Mildred's third child. He is survived by best friend Shirley Arthur of Bucyrus who watched out over him the last several years. 

 
Surviving siblings are Jack Brown of Belle Center, Harold E. (Patricia)Brown of Toledo, Rachel Ann (Phillip) Smith of West Liberty, and George (Diane) Brown of Marysville and many neices and nephews.  One special nephew, Terry Brown of Urbana that he kept in contact with also survives.  Siblings preceding him in death were half brothers Charles and William Strayer Brown and full sisters Pearl Ruth (John) Dinova. Dorothy (Paul) McClure, Mary Francis (Edward) Shull, and Della Olive Brown. 


Speed lived away from the family for many years, was a hard worker and loved working with horses.


Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home, 215 N. Walnut St., Bucyrus.  Additional calling hours will be held on Thursday from 5-6 pm.  Expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
