Biography: Harold “Andy” Tosh, 73, of Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday in Bucyrus Community Hospital Emergency Department after becoming ill. He was born on December 13, 1940 in Baxter Tennessee to the late Daniel and Sarah (Smith) Tosh. On August 19, 1960 he married Barbara I. Everett who preceded him death. Also preceding him in death are his half-brothers, Robert and Ben Rittenberry as well as his half-sisters, Johnie Grace Swallows, Lois Madele, and Sadie Grogan.
Surviving are his daughter, Laura (Gary Johnson) Beitzel of Nevada; his son, Kevin (Rae) Pierce; his grandchildren, Kelly Pierce, Taylor, Preston, and Jarred Beitzel.
Andy moved to the area in the 1960’s and in his life, he worked as a coal miner, truck driver, and retired from the Swan Rubber Company. He enjoyed shuffle board, spending time with his family, and working outside.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-8 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 2 pm with Reverend Ray LaSalle officiating, burial will follow in Brokensword Cemetery.
