Gloria A, Selby Dougherty

Biography:  Gloria A. Selby Dougherty, 88, of 500 Wedgewood Ct., passed away on Thursday April 10, 2014 in Bucyrus.  Gloria was born Nov. 10, 1925 in Galion.  She was married to her high school sweetheart, Ed Dougherty on April 21, 1946, he preceded her in death on June 6, 2013.
 
Gloria is survived by daughters Kathy (Mike) Rank, Tiro; Deb (Bill) Metzger, Bucyrus; granddaughter Janelle Hubble of Zanesville; and great granddaughter Olivia Hubble.
Gloria was a real estate agent for many years and had worked at the Crawford County Auditor's office.  She lived most of her life in Galion until retiring with her husband to Florida.  She was a 1944 graduate of Galion High School and longtime member of the Galion Country Club.  Gloria was an avid golfer and had a “Hole in One” while living in Florida.  She also enjoyed playing bridge.
